Volunteers Have a Big Impact Preparing DME for Patients
Volunteers from King of Glory Lutheran Church turned out in force on November 10th to clean, sanitize and inspect dozens of pieces of DME just in time for distribution to patients who need them. When patients receive medical equipment, everyone in our community benefits – the patient, their family and caregivers, hospital staff members who can safely release patients to go home, and the patient’s employers and coworkers who see them recovered and back at work sooner. With help from volunteers like these, we have served over 300 patients this year!
Healthcare Affordability Award from the Alliance for Healthcare Excellence
DME Exchange of Dallas is the Healthcare Affordability Hero of the Year for 2013! Many thanks to our dedicated staff and volunteers who made this possible. We continue to focus on the welfare of our patients in the community, making durable medical equipment available to people who need, but cannot afford it. Call our office to find out how you can help too.
